plasma-widget-quickaccess software package provides An alternate folder display plasma widget, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasma-widget-quickaccess
plasma-widget-quickaccess is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasma-widget-quickaccess package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasma-widget-quickaccess *
You will get with plasma-widget-quickaccess package name, version, architecture and description in a table
